Mr. Mitsuo Asano has been appointed as the new president of Kyoto Research Park Corp. (KRP)

Kyoto Research Park (KRP), located in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto, was founded in 1989 as Japan's first privately operated research park.

KRP has grown to host over 510 tenant companies and institutions across various sectors, including ICT, biotechnology, electronics, and manufacturing.

The park aims to foster collaboration among industry, academia, and government to drive innovation and economic growth in the Kyoto region.
