Since early 2025, Ho Chi Minh City has actively engaged with numerous US companies seeking investment opportunities, including a high-level delegation from the Trump Organisation exploring a site in Thu Thiem for a proposed Trump Tower complex. The Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) has attracted over 10 delegations, notably Omega in semiconductors and Quantum Systems in biotechnology. Major proposals include Smart Tech Group’s plan for a large-scale battery plant and Evolution Group’s 305 million USD data centre, while Eaton Corporation has also proposed a data centre project.
