A group of Yeungnam University students participated in global exposure program in Tokyo, gaining insights
into advanced technologies. By experiencing international markets directly,
participants had the opportunity to broaden their perspectives, discover how
innovative ideas are evaluated beyond Korea, and explore new possibilities for
connecting their own ideas to global industries.
Participants visited
NEPCON JAPAN, one of
the world’s leading electronics and manufacturing exhibitions. The exhibition
showcased cutting-edge technologies, smart manufacturing solutions, and the
latest industry trends that are rarely accessible in the domestic market.
Through direct observation of global companies and technologies, participants understood industry
structure and identified emerging technological flows in the global market.
The program also
included visits to the
KSC Tokyo
Center and
Tama
University, member organization of ASPA, offering learning opportunities related to
Japan’s startup ecosystem and entrepreneurial mindset. At the KSC Tokyo Center,
participants received lectures on Japan’s industrial and economic environment,
startup support programs, etc. At Tama University,
academic experts and industry leaders shared insights on venture growth,
leadership and key success factors for startups. These sessions
were designed to help participants reflect on their own career paths and apply
global entrepreneurial perspectives.
