Fourteen Korean companies met Indian companies and buyers in New Delhi in a full day of one-on-one technology and business consultations. The event was also a part of India field program that ran under the Global Steel Future Talent Development Program, organized with support from the Pohang Institute of Materials Industry Advancement (POMIA). It brought together participating firms recruited through ASPA, Pohang Technopark and Gyeongbuk Technopark, along with officials from the supporting agencies, interpreters and roughly 60 attendees in total.

The Korean participants represent steel and its upstream and downstream industries, including rapid thermal processing and thin-film deposition equipment, briquetting machines, rolling-mill roll re-manufacturing, corrosion-preventive packaging, carbon dioxide capture systems, PEM fuel cells, drone-based monitoring systems and AI platforms for manufacturing. Ten university students from Pohang and Gyeongbuk joined the sessions as part of the program. Each student was matched in advance with one company and researched its technology, products and target buyers before departure.

The consultations followed a networking session and two talks the previous day by Korean entrepreneurs who have built businesses in India, covering market entry strategy and lessons from local projects. The group also visited Lumax Alps Alpine India, an automotive components joint venture. Participants held a feedback meeting on the day's outcomes, and the following days included a visit to Tata Steel and trade show at bauma CONEXPO INDIA, TAEE 2026 and SEMICON India.
