Chungbuk University and NSTDA of Thailand signed Global technology exchange MOU



Chungbuk National University announced on the 5th that it signed a business agreement with Thailand's National Science and Technology Development Institute (NATIONAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY) on January 26 to promote technology and human exchange (technology transfer).

Through this business agreement, the two organizations plan to promote industry-academia cooperation as well as practical business exchanges and cooperation, such as continuous international human and technological exchanges and exchange of industry-academia cooperation information with Thailand Science Park.

In particular, this agreement is part of the Chungbuk Cheongju Jiangsu Special Zone Development Support Project being carried out by the Chungbuk National University Industry-Academic Cooperation Group. While carrying out a project to support companies in the province in developing overseas markets, the two organizations agreed on the need for industry-academia cooperation between the two countries and developed technology and technology related to industry-academia cooperation. The agreement was signed to promote exchange of information regarding human resources.

President of Chungbuk National University said, “Through this business agreement, Chungbuk National University, as a Glocal University 30 executing institution, will activate human and technological exchanges with excellent universities overseas beyond Thailand’s excellent universities, and through this, cultivate global talent and help local companies expand into overseas markets. “It will be able to serve as a bridgehead for advancement,” he added.

Meanwhile, Chungbuk National University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation plans to operate various programs to develop technological and human exchanges, such as MOUs with excellent universities in Thailand and research seminars, in addition to developing overseas sales channels in the future. In addition, it will connect with Glocal University 30 to facilitate global industry-academia cooperation projects. We plan to faithfully expand our role so that it can be implemented.
