Congratulations to Hsinchu Science Park 40th Anniversary!

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Hsinchu Science Park, the Hsinchu Science ParkBureau will hold strategic meetings and international forums at the Sheraton Hsinchu Hotel on December 14 (Mon) and 15 (Tues) for 2 consecutive days, inviting many heavyweight industry leaders and important promoters who have participated in elevating the science park to global stage over the years, expecting to look forward to the next 40 years. Since establishment of the Hsinchu Science Park in 1980s, the park has achieved the goal of "locomotive of economic transformation in Taiwan" and cultivated star companies such as Acer and TSMC. Its successful experience has been replicated by global peers. Fruitful results of the Hsinchu Science Park are like a magnificent history of Taiwan's technological development, witnessing Taiwan's soft power. At the anniversary celebration on December 15, a ceremony will also be held to honor TSMC founder Morris Chang, Acer Inc. founder Stan Shih, United Microelectronics Corp. (UMC) founder Robert Tsao, and MediaTek Inc. founder Tsai Ming-kai for their contribution to high-tech industry development at the Hsinchu Science Park.

Since 2005, Hsinchu Science Park has been maintaining a long-term cooperative relationship with ASPA as an Executive Board member.
