On Feb 6, a 7.8 magnitude of earthquake struck southern Turkiye and north-western Syria.

Tens of thousands of people have been killed and injured by this devastating earthquake.

Even after two weeks, there still have been occasional aftershocks. So please continue to pay attention to what is happening in Turkiye and Syria.

The death toll has passed 40,000 and is rising, but survivors also have continued to be found.

Search and rescue efforts are underway, and volunteers and aid are being sent from all over the world. Also, there are a lot of ways to help and support the victims and bereaved families through the embassy, related international organizations, etc.
