*What is ASPA Awards?

Every year, ASPA awards prize for companies which are outstanding in four aspects such as stability, profitability, growth and innovation.

The nominees are nominated by ASPA's organization members which have been joined ASPA more than two years. Among the nominees, four companies are shortlisted by the first evaluation (document evaluation), and they will be invited to the ASPA Awards Final Evaluation and Ceremony which are held during the ASPA Annual Conference.

Dideh Rayan Sanati Isfahan (Dorsa) started to operate in 2017 with the aim of monitoring, troubleshooting and improving production processes in various industries by using image processing and machine vision. The core of the company was formed by several professors, graduates and students of Isfahan University of Technology in order to carry out research and development projects in the steel industry since 2006. In addition, as knowledge- base and leading company on industrial machine vision and relying on its experts, the company has taken some serious action s in supplying new industrial image processing technology in Iran.

Dorsa’s main mission is to take advantage of AI and image processing to meet various needs of industries, in particular, the steel industry. Dorsa company work in different areas such as industrial digital image processing, design of intelligent systems, use of AI and machine vision, design of information networks and data transmission, industrial implementation of neural network and fuzzy control, implementation of expert and decision-making systems, design and production of industrial measurement system and design and production of x-ray-based system.

iSol Co., Ltd. (iSol) was established in 2020 with the goal of launching agriculture market-optimized products using on-device AI technology. It leverages hyperspectral technology, which allows the detection of electromagnetic waves invisible to the human eye, and robust regression models resistant to outlier data in their embedded systems.

iSol is a technology-driven development firm with a team of technicians having over 20 years of experience in both hardware and software. This allows for rapid productization of ideas. In addition, the company has quick access to new technologies through collaboration with various technical partners such as universities and research institutes. It has a pool of experts in the agricultural and medical fields, enabling them to swiftly resolve technical issues.

1. Near-infrared spectroscopy technology: Uses the near-infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum (approximately 700-2,500nm) to analyze the absorbance of various objects and extract features.

2. AI model design technology: Specializes in analyzing and designing models for diverse datasets containing outliers, creating robust models resistant to outliers.

3. Service robot design technology: Develops autonomous indoor care service robots capable of tasks such as blood glucose measurement, medication management, video calls, and indoor navigation.

4. AI non-destructive sweetness meter: Collects and learns from sweetness datasets of various fruits to infer their sweetness levels, used by farms and distribution companies.

5. AI non-invasive blood glucose meter

(Preparing to launch): Collects and learns from blood glucose datasets to infer blood glucose levels for diabetic patients, intended for use by hospitals and individual diabetic patients.
