Business Meeting ASIA 2013 in Kyoto

From August 1 ~ 2, Business Meeting ASIA 2013 in Kyoto was held in Kyoto, Japan with the global companies in the fields of ICT, electric electronics, machinery. The meeting was organized by Asian Science Park Association and Kyoto Research Park and sponsored by Daegu Metropolitan City.

The total number of 77 people attended the kyoto meeting(19 from Japan, 14 from Korea, 2 from Hong Kong, 1 from India, 1 from Indonesia, 1 from Thailand, 3 from Vietnam) to find business partners and to expand into the Japanese market.

On August 1, Dr. Sunkook Kwon, Secretary General of ASPA and Mr. Toshiharu Moriuchi, President of KRP started the official schedule of the Kyoto meeting by making opening speeches to the participants at the Opening Ceremony. After the Ceremony, 11 companies made presentations to introduce their companies and products. The presentations were followed by the business meetings where participants sat down at the table to have meetings with foreign participants. Out of 77 meetings held at Kyoto Research Park, 21 meetings ended up making progress. Some of them are having follow-up meetings and discusing possibilities of closing deals.

On August 2, we visited Kyoto Municipal Institute of Technology and Kyoto University Design School. We also attended OSC Exhibition which was held during KRP-WEEK 2013.
