Business Meeting ASIA 2015 in Hanoi was held in Vietnam

From August 18 ~ 20, Business Meeting ASIA 2015 in Hanoi was held in Vietnam with the global companies in the field of ICT, Electronics, Bio technology, New material technology and Automation. This Business Meeting was co-organized by Asian Science Park Association, Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park and Kyungpook National University LINC Center. The total number of 78 companies from Vietnam, Korea, Japan and Thailand attended this event to find the potential business partners and new market in Vietnam.

Business Matching

In the morning of August 19, the opening speeches were made by Mr. Pham Dai Duong, Chairman of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park and Dr. Sungho Kim, Dean of Kyungpook National University LINC Center. After the opening ceremony, there was the MoU signing ceremony between Kyungpook National University LINC Center (KNU LINC Center) and Vietnam Training and Examination Center (VITEC) under Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park for mutual cooperation. It was followed by introduction of participating companies of the business meeting and Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park.

During the business matching session, each company had 1:1 meetings. The participants shared their technologies and discussed potential businesses.

Technical Tour

On August 20, we paid a visit to several companies and organization in the park. FPT Software is Vietnam’s largest and one of the fastest growing software outsourcing companies. We looked around the facilities and learned about the company’s history and their main field.

After then, we visited Hi-tech Business Incubator (HBI), which serves as a tool to promote and support technology based start-ups.

Lastly, we got to visit VIKOMED, the advanced medical technology company. VIKOMED is a joint venture between Korea and Vietnam, and manufactures high-quality medical equipments. It was worth to visit especially for the participants in the related field of industry.
