Business Meeting ASIA 2016 in Kuala Lumpur was held in Malaysia on 12th April with the global companies in the field of ICT, Bio Technology, Robot/Automation, Machinery, Health Care/Medical Equipment. This Business Meeting was co-organized by Asian Science Park Association (ASPA), Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), Mobile Technology Convergence Center (MTCC), Kyungpook National University LINC Center (KNU LINC) and Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (KICOX). The total number of 117 companies from 5 countries attended this event and sought for the new business and market in Malaysia.

The welcome speech was made by Dato’ Norhalim Yunus, who is the CEO of Malaysian Technology Development Corporation. It was followed by the opening speeches made by Dr. Sunkook Kwon, Secretary-General of ASPA, Dr. Sungho Kim, Head of Kyungpook National University LINC Center and Mr. Minchul Kim, Director of Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Daegu branch. Each organization played a crucial role to invite relevant companies and hold this meeting successfully.

During the business matching session, each company had time for 1:1 meetings and discussed potential business with local, global companies. The Business Meeting Asia 2016 hosted more than 100 technology-based companies for one on one business matching.
