th, 2017. The global companies in the field of ICT, Electrics, Electronics, Machinery, Robot, Health care and Medical equipment participated in this business meeting. The event was co-organized by Asian Science Park Association (ASPA), Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (KICOX) Daegu Branch and Daegu Technopark Mobile Technology Convergence Center (MTCC). Various companies from Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan and Indonesia attended the meeting to expand their business in Malaysian market.

Business Meeting ASIA 2017 in Kuala Lumpur started with the welcome speech by Dato' Norhalim Bin Yunus, CEO of MTDC. It was followed by an opening speech of Dr. Sunkook Kwon, Secretary General of ASPA. After the speeches, each participating company had prearranged 1:1 meetings with the related local companies. The companies were very eager to seek new business opportunities and technical cooperation. The event got much attention from the local media outlets, and there were many companies with fruitful potential businesses.
Technical Tours

thJuly, the participants paid a visit to two local companies in Malaysia as a technical tour. Firstly, the participants visited IO Setia Ventures. IO Setia Ventures is a corrosion prevention supplier in oil and gas industry. Today, it has emerged from the Petronas’ vendor development program to become a formidable force as a full-fledged oil and gas industry service provider in the country. The staff members at IO Setia Ventures kindly welcomed the participants and explained well about their products.
The next local company participants visited was Taiace Engineering. Taiace Group of Companies is a Malaysian based company involved in various industries such as telecommunication, power distribution, furniture, oil and gas, green technology, etc. It was a good chance to look around and learn companies in Malaysia.
